Monika Selimovic

Student-At-Law

Monika Selimovic is a candidate in the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University and is completing the Law Society of Ontario’s licensing process. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales after completing the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University Holborn and a Graduate Diploma in Law at Brunel University in London, UK.

During her time at law school, she has held several representative and leadership roles, including Graduate Law Student Class Representative at Brunel University, Social Secretary of The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, and BPP University Representative for the Inner Temple, where she helped build community and support fellow students.

Currently, she is an elected executive member of the Law Practice Program Candidate Association. She brings several years of experience working in hospitals and health-care settings in Toronto, including Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital’s Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, and Holland Orthopedic Centre, which informs her practical, client-centred approach to supporting not-for-profit and healthcare organizations.
